This is mostly in regards to the Chipettes prior to the live action/CGI movies, but what are your stances on the debate of whether the Chipettes have body fur?
As far back as I can remember, I just always assumed the Chipettes had smooth skin, mainly because they were always far more anthropomorphic than the boys: they have human-like hair on their heads, their buck teeth are less pronounced, they're also a little more anatomically correct as it were. In fact, I never really gave it much thought until it came up in discussions in the past; one common theory is that they do have fur, it's just shorter and lighter than the boys'. I can see that, actually, but again, it's not something I've given too much thought to.

Honestly I like that they have done with them in Alvinnn. Human but chipmunk mix with tails.

I'd say they have fur. I'm sorry but any of the chipmunks with actual skin unless we're talking about the CGI series in which they all seem to be lacking fur (unless they count their tails and that weird line down their face).

Speaking of which, it's interesting that up until the CGI movies and ALVINNN!!! (and with the exception of the original album art from the late 50s), none of them had tails, but Vinny did for some reason. And it's clear she had fur too.
