Good news, chipmunk fans! A fourth live action/CGI film entitled Road Chip has been announced! Despite the poster stating 2016, the film is planned to be released on December 23, 2015. The plot of the film is as follows: Through a series of misunderstandings, Alvin, Simon and Theodore come to believe that Dave is going to propose to his new girlfriend in New York City... and dump them. They have three days to get to him and stop the proposal, saving themselves not only from losing Dave but possibly from gaining a terrible stepbrother. What do you guys think about another movie and what would you like to see in it?

Miss Miller. It's about time they brought her in and the Chipettes gaining her as a mother. That needs to happen before any of them couples advance further. Of course I want some more Simonette of course but that needs to happen first.

Why exactly do you want Miss Miller to appear before the couples advance?
Also, considering the Chipettes haven't been confirmed, I highly doubt Miss Miller will be appearing.

I can't imagine them cutting out the Chipettes due to their popularity. The main reason is because of the canonity along with the fact it doesn't appear as they are all siblings.

At the risk of sounding jaded and cynical, I've really become desensitized to sequels. There used to be a time where any movie getting a sequel was something to genuinely look forward to, because that usually meant the story was going to continue into new and exciting directions. Now, sequels pretty much fall into the same category as 3D was for a while: an overused and tired gimmick to rake in more money for the studios that put out these movies. SHREK really paved the way for that to happen - it had a successful series of four movies, and it really boosted DreamWorks into more than just a mere rival studio to Pixar - now everybody wants that kind of commercial success (do we really need a fifth ICE AGE movie?). A fourth Chipmunk movie has been in speculation for years, so I'm not really surprised that it's happening, even though I've heard nothing but negative reviews regarding CHIPWRECKED and lukewarm response to SQUEAKQUEL.

I do find the timing odd with Alvinnn being a focus right now but maybe they can piggy back off it.

Um, Simon, you do realize that all of the live action films have received negative reviews right? Not just the sequels. If people didn't like the first movie, I don't know what would make you think they'd enjoy the second.
Also, I really don't get all the sequel hate that's going on right now. Sure, there could be more original movies, but I've most of the recent sequels that have come out to be really good and some to be even better than the original.
