We know one of the things the Chipmunks are good at is taking bad songs and making them good just with their sheer awesomeness.
I hate "All About That Bass", I cringe everytime it pops up on the radio, I can't stand Meghan Trainor's annoying, robotic, and overly auto-tuned voice . . . but you know what would make this song good? Have Eleanor sing it! I mean the song, supposedly, is to get women to be happy and confident with the kind of body they have (especially since society has this ideal that women are supposed to be size 0 sick figures to be considered attractive and desireable), and Ellie's always been that kind of character, on top of already subverting typical girly behavior and traits, yet still being a girly enough character for little girls to relate to: I really bet if the Chipettes did a cover of this song with Ellie, it would rock! Heck, "Call Me Maybe" being a song about a socially awkward teen girl developing a sudden obsession with a new boy in her neighborhood and suddenly acting like a hoe to get his attention and call her is pretty pathetic - but then Cookie Monster took to YouTube and turned it into an awesome parody about wanting office co-workers to share their bounty of cookies with him.
Somebody really ought to get ahold of Ross and Janice and convince them that Ellie needs to cover this song!
